    Hey guys,

    there seems to be a functionality in the media library when a picture already exists to add a number to the filename.
    So I deleted all the previous uploaded files and although they are no longer in the library this routine still adds a 1 to the
    picname. Is this a standard? Can I solve this somehow or do I have to think about a new name, which didnt and doesnt exist in the data base?

    Hi handelsmann!

    This isn’t theme related. You’ll see it does the same in the default theme. I’m not sure if it’s possible to change it. You’ll most likely need to edit the database. It would be best to ask on the WordPress support forums, https://wordpress.org/support/.
