I am really keen on having a masonry shop for my new website which will showcase artwork. Since all paintings are of different sizes and orientation (portrait vs landscape), I’m realizing that I will need masonry. I’ve already purchased Flashlight and it has a masonry portfolio but not shop – is there any way I can add this? If you can guide me, I am willing to try and modify the css and php files myself. What would be a good way of doing this? Can I borrow the relevant code from Enfold since that theme does have a masonry shop (although it does not appear to be sortable)?

Or alternatively, should I try and do it the other way around – ie add ‘Add to cart’ links to each image in the portfolio and hence make the portfolio work like a shop?

    Any help is appreciated!

    Hi sohels!

You could create your own WooCommerce shop template file or modify the themes functions in woocommerce-config>config.php as well as the css file in that folder. The includes folder has the individual wrappers in the loop-masonry file but it will take a good bit of customization to duplicate the masonry gallery functionality on the shop page.

The version in Enfold isn’t suited for the main shop page and the code base is completely different so it wouldn’t be useful at all in this case.
