    I’m using Coalition — one page layout.

    I’ve added a page section that manually links to an external site.

    How can I make this open in a new window?

    Where do I add the target=”_blank”?

    I’ve search through the HTML/CSS files but cannot seem to find it.

    Anyone have any idea how to do this?

    You can try to use javascript – I wrote a tutorial some time ago: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/ (Purchase code hidden if logged out)(Purchase code hidden if logged out) -in-a-new-windowtab

    Coalition uses js/avia.js instead of custom.js – however the code itself should be the same.

    OK — I think this will only work with links I enter manually with HTML in pages or posts. But what I’m referring to is a page section in coalition…which ends up on the side bar.

    I enter the Link & Section Name

    I choose my section color

    For Link Behaviour choose ‘Link Manually’ and enter the domain I’d like it to link to externally

    But how can I make this open in a new window?

    The link behavior field does not accept HTML

    Eg you can try to use following js function in js/avia.js:

    jQuery(function(){jQuery('.section-external').each(function(i){this.target = "_blank";});});

    This code will add target=_blank to all menu links with “external” target.

    Do I add this to the avia,js file? Or the jquery.js file?

    To js/avia.js please.

    Best regards,
