Thanks for this great theme. I have already installed it on 3 of my websites! The ALB is great, because my knowledge of css and php is quite limited. Im am proficient with html, but it doesn’t seem to help me much in wp.. :(

    I have one question :
I would like to make two link-able buttons on the top layer of the layer-slider, but I cant seem to find a way to place a fixed image on the top layer, without it moving with every image on the slider. I have tried taking away all transitions, but the image still slides away with every slide (the it shows up again, but i can’t embed it is a fixed way). I tried to put a “read-more” button on the slider, like you guys suggested to someone on the forum, but the same problem persists.
Could you help me with this?

    Hi metafora29!

Unfortunately LayerSlider doesn’t have an option or setting for that kind of floating/static button.

Also keep in mind that for each site you use the theme on you need a separate single license from ThemeForest :)

    Best regards,

Thanks for the tip. I might try a different slider then. And, yes. i have acquired 3 licences for my websites :)

    Hi Devin
I have been browsing the web to find a slider with the feature I need: A slider where i can create a static top layer with clickable buttons or images. I cant seem to find a good one. Could you recommend me one?

    Thank you for the update.

Have you tried adding a logo on the layer slider? It will be fixed position and it won’t move along with the slider. If you can provide us with a screenshot of what you’re trying to do, maybe we can help.

Sorry that it has taken me so long to come back to you guys. I have had to work on some other stuff.
I am looking to make something similar to these two pages: or, where the “contact”-button is on top of the slider. I have not tried the logo-option you mention, but is a logo linkable? ideally I want two buttons: “contact us” and “Download pdf”
    Thanks for your time

The only thing I could think of would be to add a block of code just after or just before the layerslider (using a code block) and then use negative margins or maybe absolute positioning to put your buttons on top of the slideshow.

It might be an hour for a developer from somewhere like Codeable or Envato Studio so around $50-60.

    Dera Devin
    Thanks for the advice
I will play around some more and might get back to you guys about the developer.
