I’d like to know if the default lightbox behaviour (that opens images in a different window appearing on top of the background) can be changed in order to have the SAME slideshow working directly in a post or page.

This post explains perfectly what I’m trying to say: (Purchase code hidden if logged out) -images/

The default setting for showing multiple featured images is to show them in a thinner area (on the top of the pages or posts) but in that way there’s no small previews of all the images (like the ones appearing when you click on the magnifying lens).

Any possibility to embed the lightbox module (that I guess is the one activated when you click on the magnifying lens) in place of the thinner preview area?

    Thank you very much!

    Noone knows if it’s possible?

No, unfortunately not. The featured image slideshow doesn’t have support for thumbnails like the lightbox script does.

    Ok Devin, thanks anyway.
Do you know a plugin that can be used to achieve the same result? In a post I’d like to have a slideshow of some images with a small preview of the same images (thumbs).
