Hi there, I have used Velvet for a website and since updating to WordPress 3.5.1 the ken burns effect has stopped working.

When I check chrome it shows uncaught js errors “Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘length’ of undefined”

I’d guess that the slider plugin isn’t compatible with the version of jquery that ships with wordpress 3.5?

Is it possible that you could send me just the updated code for the file that would be affected so I can replace the offending slider js file contents with the newer one.?

I have extensively re-designed the theme and so updating another way is not possible I’m afraid.

Thanks so much for your support.

You can download the latest version of the theme from themeforest.net (log in and go to the “Downloads” page). You can try to replace the entire js folder (it can be found in the velvet theme folder) but I’d make a backup of the “old” js folder first. If this works we’re lucky. If not you you need to update all theme files listed in version.rtf (change log which can be found in the themeforest zip file) or you need to downgrade to wp3.4.
