    Hallo!

Please reload the page and try again”.

    Was mache ich falsch?

    #552988

    @Daniel
, was hast Du bei WPML / Languages / Make themes work multilingual ausgewählt?

Mal sehen was dann passiert.

    Vielen Dank für deine Hilfe!

    @frankwelschlehm
Nein, unter WPML / Languages / Make themes work multilingual habe ich nichts verändert. Das sollte eigentlich auch nicht notwendig sein.

    Hi!

    @Daniel

    Danke.

Hier ist was viel grundsätzlicheres kaputt!!

    #554531

    Bump.
This is quite urgent, as I can not continue on the german version of the website!
Any update on the status of this? Should I cross ´post this issue in WPML support forum?

    Regards,
    Frank

    Hi!

refuse from bumping into your own thread, as it pushes it behind in our queue, because it marks it as “answered”, then we can’t provide a faster reply for you.

Of course post this in WPML support as well please.

I tried to reproduce the issue on my own installation, but couldn’t, it works totally fine for me. So something must cause it especially on your end. Could be 100 of different reasons. Maybe you don’t have enough php memory limit and in this case you need to ask your host about it, to be able to increase it. Enfold needs at least 128MB of php memory limit.

    Please make sure that wp-content/uploads folder has correct permissions ( 755 ) – http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions

Ask your host about this issue as well and try with a default WordPress theme, to see if you get different or same results and let us know about them.

    Regards,
    Andy

I am having exactly the same issue suddenly. Newest Enfold + WPML and English and German language. Just wanted to save another advanced styling for German language, which resulted in this “Saving didn’t work” message.

Then I googled and found this thread. I never experienced this problem before after using Enfold and WPML for many months without major changes to the server or plugins.

    #554702

    Memory is 256MB
    Permissions are 755

How can I try a default theme. They do not save different values for different languages.

Copying the content of the options field in the DB into the other language (and adapting the page id’s) works fine, btw.

It is only the saving through the menu which does not work.

If you need ftp access as well to the demo server let me know.

Just tried setting up another site with
    > Enfold 3.4.6
    > and WPML 3.3.1 (2 releases prior to current release of 3.3.3)

and there things work just FINE.

Let’s see what WPML hast to say to this.

    Hey!

as already said: I tried it on my own Enfold (v3.4.6) installation + WPML 3.3.3 and could not reproduce the issue. If we can’t reproduce it, then we can’t do much about it.

    Cheers!

WPML released ver 3.3.4 today: https://wpml.org/download/wpml-multilingual-cms/?section=changelog
We have successfully verified that it fixes the problem in 2 of our installations so far.

    #556409

I just updated WPML to v3.3.5 and can also confirm that the problem has been fixed.

    #556416

yes, it is fixed in WPML 3.3.5

    #556440
