Have recently downloaded the theme but we are very much confused on how the things works and how setup the pages for our site

If you could provide the theme with the sample data you have in “Live Demo” that will help us setting up our content

    Please do the needful Urgently

I am able to get the Dummy content now

But some of them as still missing like portfolio you have and contact page etc. Could you please guide me on how to do that

    check my link here

you can set portfolio pages under Broadscope Theme Options Panel > Portfolio Tab. There’s also a “contact” options tab for the contact page. Just the page you want to use as contact/portfolio page. For portfolio pages you need to assign portfolio categories too. If you want to create more than one portfolio page click on the green plus symbol to add another portfolio page entry.

I’d also like to have a backup from Kriesi’s demosite to get a quick start,- could you pls. provide one (if possible exact 1:1-copy)?

    (btw: the peerbits-link is a 404 inbetween …)

    Thanks in advance

Broadscope comes with a dummy content importer (it can be found in the theme option panel). We don’t have other import/export files.

    Hi Dude,

    unfortunately I don’t get what I’d like to see; I installed WP 3.2 (German) and FTP’ed Broadscope…

    a) I get errors when “importing dummy data”:

    Failed to import Mediathek “front1”

    Failed to import Mediathek “front_alt”

    Failed to import Mediathek “front1”

(which directory do I have to create and set to 777?)

    b) under -> “Mega-Menu” -> “So” … I get nothing at all (see testsite ->

… and I’d just like to better understand how “it works” by “seeing an environment with dummy data”

(btw: will the “dummy” look like ?

    c) Anything else you can recommend in order to make “no mistakes (I setup the DB, copy WP and then Broadscope,-

    that’s the right order, right?)

    Thx & take care

To set permissions correctly I believe this can help you :)

Thanks,- this one I know very well already ;-) but it would be nice to know where (which directory) broadscope wants the files to copy to??

    Thx. CArend
