    My pictures for all slideshow images have the same image size of 1200px x 450px.
    I would like to have a static slideshow (when running the slideshow in ‘Full Width Slider’ mode) that spans across the window width but doesn’t change the height of the image when maximizing the window.

    Here’s the custom CSS I have set for the slideshow:

    .slideshow_align_caption { padding: 15px!important; }
    #top .slideshow li img {
    max-height: 450;

    There must be a way of how to have the width of the graphic change but not the height.
    Please advise!

    Thank you!

    Hi edkoge!

    What you have there will keep the image element specifically from getting taller but it will also have the secondary effect of stretching your images.

    The image height will change as the browser responds in width. That is just how the slideshow works in the demo and in slideshows like this in general.

    You can force the slideshow container to a specific height but it would make captions pretty much unusable without futher customization to them:

    #top .slideshow_big .slideshow_container {
        max-height: 450px;
