Thanks in advance for your help. I’m COMPLETELY new to this, so please keep your response simple!

I recently purchased and installed Flashlight for my WP, and I was wondering if there’s any way to increase the 2MB upload limit on photos. Just about all of my photos are over 2MB, and it is a huge pain to lower the quality for each and every one of them.

I installed my WP site through my host, iPage. From there I have access to a FileManager where I can edit all of the files associated with my WP. I came across this post: (Purchase code hidden if logged out) -size-in-wordpress/ and it seemed so simple! I tried creating a PHP.ini file in my wp-admin and adding the code, but it didn’t work.

Do you have any suggestions? Is there any kind of code I can paste into one of the files that takes away this upload restriction?

Thanks so much for the help.

Forgot to ask about the little lightning bolt, too! I’m able to upload my personal logo, but I was wondering if I could upload my own page break symbol in place of the lightning bolt that came with the theme? Thanks!
