My website is working fine, but this morning I opened my WordPress installation to change an image on the website. When I selected “Media Library”, this (below) came on the screen rather than the usual display of images I’ve uploaded to the website, and I have no idea what I need to do.

Can you let us know if there were other changes made like a wordpress update? or if there’s an added plugin?

Thanks Nikko. It’s hard to say, since the website still works fine, so I don’t know when this problem arose. I just discovered it today, but it may have happened after any recent update of WordPress or a plugin. No, I haven’t added a new plugin in months. But I apply updates once or twice a week, as they come out.
The same error note appears at both the top of the “Media Library” page and at the top of the “All Pages” page. The only difference is that on the Media Library page, the list of images does not appear, though it does correctly show that there are 647 items in my media library. But on the All Pages page, below the error message the list of all the pages in the website does appear so I can edit them.
So my real problem is that, since this problem appeared, I cannot access the images in the media library.December 26, 2017 at 5:11 am #892016
Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
- Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

While I didn’t see this error in your Media Library, I did see it in your All Pages. Have you tried disabling your plugins to see if that resolves the issue?

I am experiencing the exact same problem at the top of the “All Pages” page and the pages are not displayed in the list. I have deactivated all plugins and even moved all pages to the recycle bin, but the error is still displayed.

I never found a solution, but the only real problem was that my images did not show up in List mode on the WordPress Media page.I found that if I switch it to Grid mode, the images show up fine and I can edit them OK. So no real problem. The website works fine. Just a minor issue…so far!March 1, 2018 at 2:44 am #919342
