Hello, how can I translate the contact form heading, send button and submit message? I’m using WPML and there’s no option to translate the text for these items.

    Any help is appreciated.

You can use the theme language files (po/mo files) to translate the contact form text strings (captions, button text, message, etc.). Go to the wp-contentthemescoherencelang folder and search for default.po. This file contains the original text strings and you can translate them with tools like Poedit. Translate the strings and save the translation (make sure that you use the right file names: http://codex.wordpress.org/Translating_WordPress ). Poedit generates two files – one (po file) file contains the non-compiled text strings the mo file contains the compiled text strings. Place both files into the lang folder and repeat this step for each language.

    Thanks I will try that.

    I hope it worked out?

    Best regards,

Yes now I can see the correct translation. Will finish editing the po file today.
