    Hello, I would like the regular website that I’ve created at to appear on mobile phones.

    I followed the instructions on this post, (Purchase code hidden if logged out) -instead-of-drop-down

    but it just took out the menu and still has the same look. Please help

    Hi jcoles12,

    That topic is specifically for just the menu. You’ll need to go through base.css, grid.css and layout.css in the themes css folder and remove all of the @media queries so that there is no css telling the theme to respond to different viewport sizes.

    They look like:

    @media only screen and (max-width: 959px) {
    lots of css here

    Just make sure to keep a backup of each of the css files.

    Thanks Devin,

    I deleted the @media css in base.css and layout.css. I didn’t see that @media in the grid.css.

    The mobile version still comes up.. Please advise.

    I just tested your website with Chrome and Firefox but the layout doesn’t scale based on the window size anymore. Did you try to clear the browser cache – maybe your browser still uses the “cached” files with the media query css code.

    Yes it was a cache issue, thank you. Is there a script I can add that makes it scale based on the window size?

    Hey jcoles12,

    Not that I know of no. The scaling is just done by the device. On a regular browser you can change the size of the window to test for media queries which is what Dude was describing.
