Because I am having problems with bbpress when import dummy data I decided to build the site from ground up without importing the dummy data.

The front page displays everything except for the horizontal bar where it displays “most recent posts”

To achieve the same thing I went to dynamic template and created a Frontpage template then I created a page using the Frontpage dynamic template, then I selected this page as my front page, but now what happens is that the Under the most recent posts I have the same page (the one I selected as the front page) showing in these most recent posts in all of them, (I have the same page in all), NOT THE MOST RECENT POSTS. How can I get the most recent posts showing there instead of the same page?

What I have now on the front page Just under “Most Recent Posts” Home, Home, Home, Home, Home, in the boxes. But Home is the page, shouldn’t I have the posts in there not pages? Please note I would like to be able to do this without importing dummy data, because it is causing my bbpress to break.

I worked it out. Sorry. :)

Glad you figured it out. :)
