    hi staff,

    I’m a few steps to complete my website based on your great work :)

    I need a little tip, maybe dummie, but i couldn’t find the right lines in the .css:

    i wish to change the color of the body text from gray to black, how can i do this? Thank you very much!!!

    Kindly edit your custom.css and add this code:

    body {
    color: black!important;

    Hope this helps. :)

    thanks for the help BUT i’m sorry it is not working :(

    i thinks it’s something related to the font… where in the .css you have chosen the color of the font?

    It should work.

    body{color:#000000 !important;}

    Make sure you’ve added it to custom.css on your server.

    Also make sure your cache is cleared, maybe it works but your browser hasn’t caught up.

    If this doesn’t work, can you provide a link to your site?

    ok, the new rule works :)

    many thanks !!!

    Glad the addition from Chris fixed it for you. The “!important” will force the css to use that specific css rule instead of others no matter where it is on the hierarchy.
