Two questions that I could not find answers to in the docs/videos or here. I’ve installed Corona using the WordPress uploader and dummy data.

    1. How do I change the default accordion slider?

    2. How do I remove ‘templates’ and ‘ portfolio’ from the menu (home/blog/templates/portfolio/contact)?

    1) You can adjust the slideshow settings (images, slider type, etc.) for each entry. Just go to the page which is used as your frontpage and scroll to the slideshow/featured media option field. There you can select a different slideshow type.

    2) Corona uses the standard WP menu builder/manager. Go to Appearance > Menus to edit the current menu and to remove/add new menu items.

Can you help me out with my slideshow. I do not have the documentation that came with this and the person who built the site is not available right now. There is no option to edit the home page (no slideshow/featured media option field) and I need to change images in the slideshow, but do not know how to do this. The home page is at

    Hi browserdaily,

Since you are using the Newscast theme and not Corona the process is different. In Newscast, the slideshow area is controlled by the Mainpage options in the theme options. Its the set of options at the very bottom of the wordpress navigation on the left hand side of the wordpress admin.

There you’ll see the options for Mainpage Slideshow including what kind of Slider to use, how many slides and most important Featured Slider Categories. This is where you’ll see which post category gets put into the slider. So when you go to Posts, you’ll be able to add new posts to replace those in the slider.

If you need to download new documentation, you can just download the theme again from Themeforest under your accounts Downloads.
