How can I remove Portfolio Item from the WordPress menu (on lefthand side) as we are not using it and the client does not need to be able to see this choice.

    Hey gdisbh!

Please go to Appearance > Widgets and remove it from your widget area. If that does not help, please post the link to your page so we can make sure that we are on the same page.

    Hi
I have done this, however it is still showing in the WordPress Dashboard. That is where I want to have it not showing.

    Hi,

Please send us a temporary admin login so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.

    Thanks,

    Hi!

I would suggest using your email and setting the username and password, so that you can delete the user when we are finished. Then send the login details in the Private Content section of your reply.

    Regards,
    Jordan

    Hi!

Disable the “Portfolio Items” in the Screen Options of the Appearance > Menus panel.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

This is not in the ‘Menu’ panel.

I am talking about the WP Dashboard.

When you open the WP Dashboard, you can see on the left-hand side ‘Portfolio Items’. It is not visible on the actual website (which is good), however, when you open the WP Dashboard you can still see as mentioned on the left-hand side. We do no use the Portfolio section, nor do we require it, and my client, does not need to see it when they login to the WP Dashboard,

    Hey!

I see. Sorry about that. Please add this in the functions.php file instead:

    EDITED: Function below.

    Cheers!
