    Hello, I received a message from a user that my category pages (sample links in private) are not being indexed as they are denied permission by the website. I’ve been told to check the html source code for the no-follow tag and have it removed either manually or through WP’s settings. What are your thoughts on this? Should categories be indexed? If so, how can I go about doing it?

    Also, is a responsive design theme update in the works?

    Hey Kshipra,

    They should be indexed just like any other page on your site, have you put any restrictions using an SEO plugin or in your robots.txt file?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    No, I have not put any restrictions. It’s not a biggie, so it’s ok. 2 questions:
    1) Is a responsive design theme update in the works?
    2) How can I increase the post area’s width? (see example post in private area). Currently the max width of an image I can post is 600 px. Anything over that will make the additional part not show up.

    Hi!

    1- Shoutbox is theme has a fixed layout which means it is not responsive. If you are planning to switch to another responsive theme, we would definitely recommend Enfold theme. It is fully responsive and uses (Purchase code hidden if logged out) -editor/”>Advanced Layout Builder
    2- Please add following code to Quick CSS in Shoutbox theme options under Styling tab

    .content {
        width: 700px;
    }
    .sidebar {
    width: 220px;
    }

    Thanks Yigit! How can I change a post’s font style, color and size?

    #546264

    Hi!

    Please use the following:

    .entry-content {
    font-size:
    font-family:
    font-color
    }

    Use it, play around with it and locate the way you want them to be visible.

    Best regards,
    Basilis

    Hi, I applied the following code:

    .entry-content {
    font-family: ‘Open Sans’
    }

    The font change displays well when I’m logged on,but as soon as I sign off – it goes away (pleasee see below). Can you please suggest a way to make it stick?

    Hi,

    Try the following instead:

    .entry-content {
    font-family: ‘Open Sans’ !important;
    }

    Clear your browser cache and reload a few times afterwards to see the changes.

    Rikard

    Hi!

    Add this css code:

    .home .sidebar {
        top: -10px;
    }

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    #598220

    That worked out well! What about single posts and pages?

    #598785

    Hi,

    It should apply site wide if you remove .home from Ismaels code:

    .sidebar {
        top: -10px;
    }

    Regards,
    Rikard

    Thank you so much! How can I change the “Send us mail” to “Send me mail” in the contact form’s header?

    #602085

    Any fix for this? How can I change the “Send us mail” to “Send me mail” in the contact form’s header?

    #602378

    Hi,

    You can change that under the Form Title option in the element options.

    Thanks,
    Rikard

    #602595

    And where is that? I went into the page’s edit mode but couldn’t locate it.

    #603815

    Hey!

    it’s very easy to find, simply edit contact form element and look for form title:

    How do I get to the contact form’s element? When I edit the contact page, it doesn’t show a contact form in either display/code mode.

    #604218

    Hi!

    I’m sorry but that is an Enfold feature. Please edit includes > contact-form.php file then look for this code:

    "heading" => "<h3>".__('Send us mail','avia_framework')."</h3>",

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Thank you so much! Another question – when I add some text at the bottom of the footer code, it double spaces the text which doesn’t look professional. Is there anyway to single space it?

    #622393

    Any update on the above request?

    #624227

    Hi,

    Sorry for the delay. What do you mean by “footer code”? Could please provide a link to the page with the issue.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
