After an updrate from wordpress 3.1.1 to 3.3.1 the Featured Image Slideshow will not load. The loading icon stays on screen.

    Any suggestions to solve this?

    Hi jurjan,

You also need to update the Habitat theme to the most recent version. You can download the updates free by re-downloading the theme from Themeforest.

I seem to the same issues after the WordPress installation. I downloaded the latest update for the Habitat theme, too! Still, my feature images are not showing up. In fact, I get a “Script Error Message Pop-Up” every time I open up my site. I really don’t know what to do!

Update! I did some debugging and deactivated all plug-ins and changed the main theme to Twenty Eleven to see if the problem still exists. Everything in that Twenty Eleven theme works fine. My idea is that it must be the Habitat template with a jQuery or other javascript conflict causing the issue.

    Yes I have Habitat v. 1.1.1 and WP v. 3.3.2

Any advice on what may be the problems here?

1)Please try to upload all theme files and wordpress files again. Sometimes one or more files are corrupt after the ftp transfer and you need to upload them a second time.

    2) If this doesn’t help deactivate ALL other plugins to make sure that it’s a theme js code flaw which causes the jquery error.
