    Hello,

I am using the “Google Analytics Tracking Code” zone of the Enfold theme options but when an administrator is connected & visits front end pages, this should not be visible in GA as that’s not relevant. Is there a way to do this or do I need a plugin like https://nl-be.wordpress.org/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/ (used that one before and it has the expected behaviour but I am trying to restrict the number of plugins)…

    Thanks & best regards,
    Jurgen

    Hey Jurgen,

I’m not sure what you mean by that, where exactly don’t you want the analytics code to be shown?

    Hi Rikard,

When a logged in administrator visits the front end pages (so with the admin bar on top when f.e. he views a (modified) page / product), this should not be counted as a visitor of the website in GA.

    Thanks for checking.

    Best regards,
    Jurgen

    Hi Jurgen,

Ok, I see what you mean, though all tracking is done remotely by Google so you would have to set that in your Analytics account. Unfortunately I’m not sure how to do that.

    Hi Rikard,

But the plugin I mentioned by MonsterInsights does that as expected (I assume they don’t include the tracking code if admin). But probably that’s something I can’t do with standard GA code / theme options & will have to use that plugin again?

    Best regards,

    Hi Jurgen,

Ok, I’m not sure how they do that to be honest. Maybe you could contact the plugin authors for clarification? This is really not my area of expertise unfortunately.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
