I use the theme for some websites ….
on one test subdomain we are currently developing a multisite with the help of enfold
— > URL’s see private content
The problem I have right now is: in the data protection settings, instead of a reference to google maps, I would like to use a reference to open street maps, which we use.
Is there already a thread for this or a certain predefined shortcode available?
Question 2: as soon as I activate the data protection settings (cookie notice), Google Maps (this concerns two other websites that I am currently developing solely with
the help of enfold …) can only be shown in a separate tab. Is there a possibility to continue to show the map in the content despite valid GDPR settings?
(All websites are located in Germany).
Thank you for your great support – I am very satisfied with it.
Sorry for the very late reply, I checked your site and your “map” page, but it seems to be an “image hotspot” element, can you link to the page that contains your open street map.
To add a setting for the open street map, please follow these steps. Unfortunately at this time the open street maps doesn’t have a built-in setting.
Above you state “Is there a possibility to continue to show the map in the content despite valid GDPR settings?”
Do you mean that if the cookie consent is denied, how do you still show the map? One way I have noticed people working around cookie options and maps is to show an image or screenshot of a map when the element is not shown.
