I would like to create a single page template that has no sidebar. Ideally to be used for facebook landing page.

How do i go about this?

you’d go in your index.php and remove your sidebar inclusion, you would then get your menu inclusion and the needed loops and put them wherever you’d like them in your index file. Then you’d adjust the width of your main content to fit your needings. The reason I’m being a little unspecific is because this require extensive editing which is time intensive and not within the scope of the support forum.

What! That cant be right, as in the css editor I find a rule for .fullwidth .sidebar{ display:none;} but I dont find an option to disable the sidebar (which is what your talking about)

    PLease advise…

If the option is available I’m unaware of it, your logic does make sense though.

My solution would be to go in your template-dynamic.php and remove get_sidebar(). Then just adjust the .content class in your style.css with the wanted width and float:left; instead of right.

    Meanwhile I’ll contact Kriesi.

Actually this css rule is a leftover from the framework I am using. This theme doesnt really support fullwidth pages, since that would result in having no logo or main navigation. you can of course create a custom template derived from the page template and add the class fullwidth so the sidebar no longer appears. not sure though how your users would then navigate away from that site….

If you would like to see what I have created by extending width, it solved the problem of not having enough space without creating

I have had to sacrifice things like single post displaying featured image and various other changes. What I don’t know how to do is create 5 column portfolio layout? I have changed the column widths, but there must be some code i need to change to add the extra colums for portfolio? perhaps grid.3 width?

    I don’t know, can you help…

I don’t think it’s possible to create a 5 column layout because Kriesi uses a 12-grid framework and the portfolio uses 9 grids in total. Each item requires 3 grids. You can’t devide 9 grids through 5 items. You would need to extend the grid framework somehow but this will break all existing layouts.
