    Excllent theme, I love it!!

    I’ve changed bg.png so the header works fine, but I cannot seem to change the footer, it’s the stock dark gray. I can’t find a style1.css, only a style.css with footerwrap noted, however changes to designate background color are not working when I save style.css. Where can I change the footer background ot use the same bg.png I’m using for the header?

    Thanks in advance.

    add following to style.css

    background: url("images/skin1/bg.png") repeat-x !important;

    Obviously you need to adjust the image url.

    Many thanks Dude!!

    For others reading, using the WP control panel I selected “Appearance”, then “Editor”. At the bottom of right hand column, I loaded up style.css file which is the main stylesheet defining fonts, backgrounds, text size, etc.

    I then created the following line per Dude’s instruction, and clicked on “Update File”:

    background: URL(“http://www.insert_mysite_namehere.com/wp/wp-content/themes/newscast/images/skin1/bg.png”) repeat-x !important;

    Poof, it appeared. Note: I had already edited the bg.png file to a background I wanted in the header, and uploaded it to the url above. So now both header and footer match.

    Glad that I could help you :)
