I have just bought one of your themes, for the clarification “Flashlight”
Immediately afterwards I received the folder with all the documents by e-mail
What is the next step
I tried to read what is written but I could not understand much
Also I do not have a valid program to be able to open php files properly
I also tried to view the video tutorials you have attached but I can not open them with any browser (Firefox, Safari, Chrome)
I state that I am not an expert on the subject, but I did not believe it would be so complicated
I do not even know where to start, how to access the admin panel …
Please explain to me something more, what are the very first steps

You need to install the theme in WordPress, did you try that out? You can upload the .zip file under Appearance->Themes.

You did not answer me about question of video tutorials
For me it would be much easier to work if guided step by step by these
I already have a site with the domain on Aruba.it and I would like to continue like this
It seems that if I want to keep my current domain I have to pay another € 8 a month, can you confirm this?
In other words, can i create a new theme (your Flashlight) and continue with Aruba without having to pay additional fees?
Please give me explanations of these questions

You can find the documentation folder in the root folder of the theme, open index.html in your browser. I’m not sure which videos you are referring to though, we don’t have any other documentation than what comes with the theme unfortunately.
As for your domain; we have nothing to do with your domain, you likely bought that from your hosting provider. We sell WordPress themes, nothing else.

Here you can find link that appears when i go to index.html on my browser
That should be a video tutorial of settings
Well, these doesn’t work
Appears “unsafe connection”, for so they are useless
To be able to upload the Flashlight theme to wordpress, I must be registered
In order to register, I have to choose the domain and I do not want to change the current one, I have owned it for 8 years
If I choose my domain, already existing, wordpress wants to paste a subscription of 96 € per year
I already have a domain and I like it, why I have to pay a supplement to be able to elaborate the theme that I have already paid to you ??
I hope this is a little clearer
The question is: Can I load the theme purchased from you directly on my control panel on Aruba.it, without passing through wordpress and build it directly from there?
There is the possibility to load the wordpress

Thanks for the link, it looks like those videos are not working at the moment. I’m not sure why that is unfortunately though, we will have to look closer at that.
About the fees you are talking about; I’m not sure exactly what you mean, but that money will not go to us, you have paid us already if you own a license. I’m guessing you are hosting your site on WordPress.com? If so then they are the ones you should be talking to, we only provide the theme like I said earlier. And yes, you have an installation outside of WordPress.com and use the theme there without any additional charges.

I know perfectly well that you are not asking me any more money, if I left this impression I apologize. Currently my site is not hosted by wordpress, as I said before is on Aruba.it and I would like it to stay that way but, apparently, if I want to develop it, I have to go to the wordpress, can you confirm this?
Apparently I have to upload .zip files on wordpress but that is only possible if I purchase a subscription “personal, premium or business” with their relative costs and this is unacceptable for me as I already have a domain paid to Aruba.it, as I already said
What I’m asking is
Can I load the flashlight theme (purchased by you) directly on Aruba.it and work directly from there?
I’ve talked to them too but I’m still waiting for the answer
You must understand that I find myself in an uncomfortable situation as I have bought a nice theme but I do not know how to use it
I apologize if I am too insistent but I would like to resolve this situation

Thanks for the feedback, I’m not sure how your hosting provider charges their customers, but I’ve never heard of a host which charges to use WordPress. I don’t know what they are charging for exactly, but if you don’t like their terms then maybe you could look for an alternative? You should be able to move your domain name with you to the new host fairly easy by changing DNS records at your old host.
RikardJanuary 5, 2018 at 10:07 am #893635
No, apparently we do not understand each other …
Evidently I’m doing something wrong as I’m inexperienced
So, my domain is on Aruba.it and I want it to stay that way
I bought one of your themes and I have every intention of using it
What is the next step ???
TonciJanuary 5, 2018 at 10:57 am #893666
I think we have some problems communicating yes, but we should be able to solve your problem anyway. So first off, aruba.it is the host where your site lives, correct?
Could you post admin login details to your site in private so that we can have a closer look at it?
RikardJanuary 5, 2018 at 11:10 am #893673
right now I’m working on something else, as soon as I’m free I’ll provide you the neccessary but then again, Aruba.it is not the problem
Maybe I understood where I was wrong
Talk to you soon
Thanks a lot!

I apologize for the delay but at this moment I am waiting that my hosting provider solve some administrative problems,
After some info and video tutorials, I think I understood where I was wrong, as soon as things are arranged with them I’m convinced I can load the WP and all the rest
I thank you for your patience, I am a beginner in this world and I need to understand some things
TonciJanuary 6, 2018 at 1:42 pm #894077
