    Please help. All of my post images are now retangular and not square. The images look distorted. Thank you!

    Hi,

    Thank you for the link. Please add this css code in the style.css file:

    .slideshow img, .slideshow a img {
        width: auto;
    }

    The default value is 100%.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    That did not work it made the slideshow on the main page smaller. I was not referring to the slideshow on the main page – it is the post page. The display on the post pages used to be more square. Thank you!

    I used this code and it worked but it made the featured post image smaller, not taller:

    .single-post img, .single-post a img {
    width: auto;

    }

    and if I add height it changes the logo in the header and makes it huge!

    .single-post img, .single-post a img {
    width: auto;
    height: 210px;

    }

    Not sure how to fix this! I need to change the height in the featured image.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

    use this code to control featured image’s width and height:

    li.featured.featured_container1.imageslide {
    width: 89% !important;
    height: 265px !important;
    }

    and adjust as needed.

    By the way WordPress is cropping images by default when uploading them and if you want to control this behavior you can use a plugin like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes
    I hope this will help :).

    Best regards,
    Andy

    Hi Andy,

    I added the code and it only changes the size of the slideshow images on our home page. When you click from the home page on to a post, the image is still elongated. I need the images to appear on the post as they appear on the slideshow. Any thoughts?

    Hi,

    as already said WordPress is cropping images by default when uploading them and if you want to control this behavior you can use a plugin like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes
