Hi, I just installed the theme and was wondering if there’s any possible way of automatically using the first image as the featured image and not having it be disproportionately stretched. My site worked nicely before but now there are no preview images for my posts.July 7, 2016 at 10:34 am #657870
Did your other theme set the featured image using the default WordPress functionality? If not I’m afraid you will have to do it manually again. I checked the post in private and it doesn’t have a featured image set.

Hi, I’m not sure what the other theme did but I definitely didn’t have the featured image set, their code just automatically had the image show up in the slideshow at the top. You can see it here under the theme preview:
Also, this theme doesn’t seem to be responsive…is it?July 12, 2016 at 5:03 am #659663
The featured image can be specified under the “Add featured media” section. The first image uploaded will be automatically set as the featured image.

Hmm…so this doesn’t retroactively work for the posts already made since there are images in them but they do not appear in the featured images area. For example: http://www.ourbreathingplanet.com/mono-lake/
Also, the theme is not responsive and doesn’t seem to have any social media icons for Google Plus and Instagram.
Any way of getting a refund?July 13, 2016 at 3:04 pm #660450
Also, just tried uploading an image to test that it auto-selects it as a featured image and that didn’t work either.July 16, 2016 at 2:19 am #661578

For a refund, please contact themeforest. The theme is actually a bit old and may have less features compare to the new ones. Please check our latest theme, Enfold.

Did you click the “Use image as featured image” button?

I have similar problem relating to missing background image. After importing the “coming soon” page, the background image won’t appear.July 22, 2016 at 2:05 pm #663869
The background image on the coming soon page shows up fine on my end. Did you get this sorted? please check the screenshot if it’s not what you see it may be due to cached files in your browser.
Please try to hard refresh by pressing Ctrl + Shift + F5 on your browser or press the F12 key to open chrome dev tools and right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload” and review the site again.
