    Hi,
    I updated via ftp, deleted old enfold folder and uploaded new one.
    I’ve never hat problem but now get this message on the backend login:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ”LayerSlider’ (T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE) in /var/www/vhosts/phamosa.de/web2017.phamosa.de/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/wp/notices.php on line 88

    Can you send me a download of version 4.5.3, maybe it solves the issue?

    I am using PHP version 7.1.26

    I see that you are running 4.5.4, where exactly are you getting that problem?

    Hi Rikard, I cannot access the backend anymore because of the parse error. Please check. I don’t know why the front end seems to work now?!

    Hi,

    Sorry for the late reply.

    Sounds like the file is corrupted. Download a new zip file from themeforest, delete all enfold folder and try a new upload with ftp.

    If you need help, please give us WP admin and FTP credentials and we can do it for you.
    There will be 4.5.5 released shortly.

    Hi Günter, I download the new zip file again yesterday. This morning, I deleted the old enfold older and uploaded the one downloaded yesterday.
    I still get the same message when I want to log in to the backend.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file in /var/www/vhosts/XXX/XXX/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/wp/notices.php on line 128

    I cannot give you WP admin because I cannot log into the backend, only ftp,see private content

    Hi!

    Delete complete enfold directory (and also enfold child if you use a child heme) and try to login again.

    Ok, I can access the backend now. What is your email address? I need it to create a new user?

    I put one of my email addresses!

    Solved. The notices.php file wasn’t uploaded correctly.
