    Hi Guys,

    I’m afraid that I don’t know where to go to find the answer to my questions. I’m mostly WordPress illiterate and bumbling my way through.

    I have Enfold theme and I’ve been using one of the demo themes. I would like to set up a child theme if it’s not too hard. Are the demo themes different to the child themes?

    Also, I will eventually be using CSShero. Is this the same as using a child theme?

    Hi Steven,

    A child theme is used only to override a parent theme, so the demo would be the same. If you are looking to add a child theme you would have to export your current setting from the theme backend and then import them once you have activated the child theme.

    Thanks for the replies guys.
    I understand the concept of a child theme. What I’m not sure of, is whether an Enfold Demo theme is classified as a child theme.

    I’m guessing that I install Enfold, Apply the demo theme, and then move it all to a child theme?

    That is not necessary. You can active child theme and then import desired demo :)
