    Everything appears to function normally when purchasing an item. But site visitors are not receiving the theme’s confirmation email of their order, and we’re not receiving the theme’s notification that an order was placed.

    Both visitor and seller are however receiving notifications from PayPal regarding cash.

    Banging my head. What could be the issue?



    the email notifications are part of the woocommerce code (they’re not handled by our theme and we do not modify/hack the email templates in any way). Based on various woocommerce support forum threads (i.e. http://www.woothemes.com/support-forum/?viewtopic=65275 ) this is a problem with the hoster (in this case GoDaddy but obviously it’s not limited to this hoster). If you’re using godaddy you maybe need to switch the hoster because the woocommerce dev answer was:

    This can be due to godaddy hosting as a few other people have encountered problems. Sadly, I don’t think theres an easy way for us to fix this as it seems to be due to godaddy’s hosting environment. See here: https://github.com/woothemes/woocommerce/issues/222

    You may have some luck asking them for support, on the issue.
