    would like some advice on how to edit the Read More button on the:

    Blog page:

    and Archive pages:

    so that they appear left aligned to and beneath the body text as they do on the search results page:

    Thanks in advance

    because of the html structure this isn’t easily possible. However you can move the button to the right and display it under the text with following code (in css/custom.css): .more-link, #top.archive .more-link, .more-link{
    float: right;
    margin-bottom: 15px;

    hi Dudue,

    thanks again for the quick reply :) I added the code above but the button remains in the same spot, any further advice would be great.

    I corrected the code above – sorry. I didn’t notice that the id and the class are attached to the same element :)

    Hey dude,

    thanks for the update – all works well, cheers :)

    Glad that I could help you :)

    Can I ask a question about the width of the more button? If I type more than 18 characters into the button, the text jumps to a new line. Is it possible to make it just a bit wider? I’d need exactly 19 characters to show in a single line.

    Also, this varies from browser to browser. Chrome displays 18 characters in a single line, while Firefox doesn’t.

    in your style.css find #top .more-link and change the value of the width. It is set to 85px, changing it to 90px or 95 should be enough.

    It works! Thank you.

    Glad that Chris could help you :)
