I am just getting started with the BroadScope theme on a new WP 3.1 install. After adding the dummy content, I renamed the “Sample Page” to “Home”. And for some reason, I am getting a duplicate “Home” button on my menu bar { example at }. Any ideas what I’m doing wrong?

I re-downloaded the theme and started over in Firefox this time (since I was having issues with Safari). It seems to be working just fine now.

did you download the update? Broadscope 1.1 was released yesterday (it should solve Safari bug, etc.).

I did re-download it when I re-installed it through Firefox. What’s strange, through is that my appearance panel still shows the theme as version 1.0, and the stylesheet info shows 1.0.2.

It looks like you’ve solved the duplicate Home link problem??

The theme shows for me s version 1.0.2, as long as it’s been updated there shouldn’t be any issues, but let us know if anything seems broken / not quite right.

Hi, I’m having the same duplicate ‘Home’ problem.

I’m using Chrome and I’m not sure what version of Broadscope I’m using (how do I check that?), but I bought and downloaded it today.

    Thanks in advance!

did you use the menu manager to build a custom menu? Here’s a tutorial: (Purchase code hidden if logged out) -the-menu-behaves-weird which will guide you through the basic setup. However Broadscope supports the new mega menu feature (it’s integrated in the normal wp menu manager :)

    Excellent! Resolved, thanks :)

Glad that I could help you :)
