    This theme is very powerful! Thanks for much for building/maintaining it.

    I would like to remove the title from above the images as seen on the link below (the portfolio default), and make is to that the title will show on mouseover – so that when the picture’s gray overlay fades, the title will show over the bottom of the picture with a black overlay that is just a bit taller than the title.

    That way, it will look much cleaner, and I will have a whole matrix of profile pictures, with the name hidden until the mouseover.

    I would also like to remove the leading dash, but keep the hyperlink to the portfolio item.

    Hi InterdisciplinaryInnovation,

    I can help with some of that but unfortunately not the entire thing as its a beyond the scope of what we are able to do through support.

    You can modify the basic layout of the portfolio in includes>loop-portfolio.php . To remove the Title you need to look for then remove:

    echo "<h1 class='post-title portfolio-title'>";
    echo "<span class='primary-background title-span'></span>";
    echo "<a href='".get_permalink()."' rel='bookmark' title='".__('Permanent Link:','avia_framework')." ".get_the_title()."'>".get_the_title()."</a>";
    echo "</h1>";

    This will leave you with just the slideshow. From there it will get quite a bit more complicated as you’ll need to write some javascript to show the title in the way you describe above and re-add in the above title information for the javascript to call upon.

    If you aren’t comfortable with that level of code, I would recommend looking into a freelance web developer.

    In the meantime if you want to remove the Dash next to the title, you can Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:

    .title-span {
    display: none;
