    Looking for a way to create a new display skin. In particular I want to use a background image for the top half.

    Hey! In folder css/skin1.css you will notice that the wrapper already has a reapeating background image applied:

    .wrapper {
    background: white url(../images/skin1/bg.png) repeat-x left top;

    just replace this image with your image that should appear for the top half

    Hate to sound stupid but … where is the ../images/skin1/bg.png image housed? Do I need to FTP to this or are the .png images available somewhere in media through the Display dashboard?

    Hi SCommunicate,

    Yes, you’ll need to FTP into your server and then you’ll find everything in the wp-content>themes>display folder. Each skin is made up a css file located in the css folder and then a skin# folder inside images.

    That Devin – I got that figured out. Now on to other pages. What css style sheet defines other pages besides the home page?

    The styling is defined in the css folder in either skin1.css, skin2.css or skin3.css file depending on which theme version you’re using. The only other stylesheet used by the theme is the style.css which can be found in the main folder.

    These .css files will influence every page of your site, they’re not assigned to specific pages.
