    Hi! First you should know that I have very little knowledge with coding etc. However, your theme is amazing and I am doing pretty well so far figuring out stuff! Thanks for the great support blog too!

    My question is how can I change my fonts on the left menu in Coalition? I have downloaded a font plugin and found how to get web fonts etc. However where on the CSS stylesheet do you change it exactly? I am searching through code but can only see ‘Helvetica’ once, and it doesn’t look like it is for the menu. Any way to do this? Grand plans: I’d love to have a different cool font for each menu item (yikes). Thanks!!

    you can use following code to change the font of the menu items:

    #top .main_menu .menu li, #top .main_menu .menu li a{
    font-family: "yourfont";

    Hope you don’t mind me butting in but this is still fresh in my mind as I just worked on webfonts yesterday

    Don’t forget to use the custom.css file and NOT chanage the original. It will still work but perhaps one day you will update the theme and you settings will be lost and you might have forgotten why.

    I used Google web fonts which you envoke like this:

    @import url(;

    Specifically this is for the Ubuntu font. It will be different for other fonts and other subsets f that font. The Google webfont page gived very good instruction on this, The rest was explained by Dude. :-)

    Best regards,

    Thanks for the info…it is hard to figure how when I am not much of a coder at all. I will try that!! Dude, when you say I can use that code where do I put it exactly? Thanks!

    you can put it in your Quick CSS or in your custom.css file.
