    Hi
I have imported a custom font and selected it for the main menu in advanced styling. But it is not working – I also tried with quick css code. Still not working.

    What can be wrong?

    Okay ;-)

    Hi,

Thanks for that, I see that there are some special characters in the font file name. What happens if you adjust that and upload it again?

I don’t know what you mean?

It wont work on my h3 and h4 headings. What am I doing wrong? I imported the “BlenderPro” font enfold child -> import/export -> custom font manager.

Then I choose the font in advanced styling.

I am really trying my best to launch this website in the end of this week – but I seem to run into so many defaults and problems all the time…

    Hi,

Thanks for the update, I wanted to check your setting but the login details you posted are not working anymore. Please check and verify.

    Sorry, here they are

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

Looks like you’re using a non-Google font called “blenderpro”. You have to use the @font-face rule for that. Please note that you can only use Google fonts in the Custom Font Manager.

Okay, now I am really getting tired of this font thing…

I used font squirrel to generate the code for my font – i out it all in with my css. set the @font face in my style.css and added it to main menu.

But i get an error saying @font-face does declaration doesn’t follow the the fontspring bulletproof syntax

What to do next – tired of searching the web all day and all night for every little step I wish to make.

Feel free to look in my css folder etc.

    Hi,

What to do next – tired of searching the web all day and all night for every little step I wish to make.

Welcome to the wonderful world of web development!

About your problem; I can’t see any font-face CSS in Quick CSS, where exactly did you put it? The Appearance-Editor function is turned off in your installation so I couldn’t check your CSS files.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

It is in the quick css, can you see it now :-)

    Hi,

Great, I can see it now. Where exactly did you upload the font? Make sure that the URL property uses the full URL to the font file:

    url('https://your.site/blenderpro-book-webfont.woff2')

    Best regards,
    Rikard

I used font squirrel to generate the code for my font – i put it all in the folder with my css. Then I placed the @font face in my style.css and now I moved it from my style.css to my quick css for you to see

I don’t know where to look to make sure that the URL property uses the full URL to the font file

    Hi,

You have to link directly to the file, otherwise it obviously can’t be found. You can check if you log into your FTP account and navigate to the folder in question. For instance:

    https://your.site/wp-content/themes/enfold/fonts/yourfont.ttf
