When someone sends an email through contact page we get following:

    Message: Hei%2C%0D%0Ameille%20tehd%C3%A4%C3%A4n%20lattiaremontti%20kes%C3%A4kuussa.%20Uuden%20lattian%20alle%20olisi%20tarkoitus%20asentaa%20s%C3%A4hk%C3%B6k%C3%A4ytt%C3%B6inen%20lattial%C3%A4mmitys%20mukavuusl%C3%A4mm%C3%B6ll%C3%A4%20(n.%2014%20m2).%20Pyyd%C3%A4n%20siis%20tarjousta%20asennuksesta%20%2B%20tarvikkeista.%20Valu-%20ja%20muut%20ty%C3%B6

As you can see it adds %XX characters. Im thinkink this has something to do with charsets?

Any idea where to start fixing this problem?

Also what is the name of the plugin that contact page uses to send an email.

    Hey n0gear,

I’m not sure why that is happening. The theme doesn’t have a plugin responsible for handling the contact form, its using the built in wordpress function to mail.

If you’d like to see if a different contact form will work without the issue (also to see if its theme related or something else) you can try out the contact form 7 plugin:

I’m getting the same issue with my Contact form – any ideas of how to solve this?

    Hi markymix,

Unfortunately I have not run into the issue other than this time so I don’t have a fix or can point to a cause either. Do you have any other plugins installed and running on your wordpress installation?
