    Hope you can help:

    How can I include this slogan ‘Welcome to Choices, a bold & super flexible business theme!’ with button link, from this url ?

    How do I set up the Three horizontal boxes below this slogan line on the same URL. first box features: “BUILD YOUR OWN SKINS

    Right out of your backend. No coding needed…”

    Last one: How can I set up the ‘Our Partners’ section as well from the bottom of this URL?

    Hi tiktacs,

    Everything on the home page for the demo is done via a Template builder dynamic template. You can add the Text area using the Text Area/Callout/Quotes element and the same with the Logo/Partners list. The three boxes are done with shortcodes using the Iconbox (Icon on Top) from the Insert Shortocde button on the visual editor for that frontpage.

    Example of the shortcode:

    [iconbox_top title="Here is the Title" icon="Airplane.png"]Here is the text content for this box.[/iconbox_top]

    Hi Devin,

    Thank you for your reply. I had no idea what the Template Builder was… but I am all over that, thank you for introducing it to me :)

    I know how to put in the shortcode for the Icon box, which I had already down prior to your reply, but I am not sure how to get 3 across the page, I can only seem to get one see here:

    how can I get three across the page like on the Demo, what is the trick?

    Also how can you remove the title of the page that appears like this: About You are here: Home» About

    Is the trick to make a template and have this section removed?

    Thank you!

    1) You can remove the “About You are here: Home» About” text by modifying wp-contentthemeschoicesfunctions-choices.php – open up the file and remove following code/line:

    if(!is_front_page() && $breadcrumb) $additions .= avia_breadcrumbs();

    2) You need to combine it with the columns shortcode – create a 3 columns layout (with the shortcode generator), then insert a Icon box shortcode into each column.

    Thanks Dude!

    With the ‘area/callout/quotes’ (uPass, the FREE App for University Students) section on this page is there anyway that i can reduce the gap below the text so that it looks more uniformed like the Choices demo?

    and lastly in this section is there anyway you can customize the font or the text styling similar to the demo too?

    Cheers for your help!

    1) Yes – insert following code into the quick css field:

    #top .container_split .container {
    padding-bottom: 0;

    2) Kriesi uses the Open Sans font on the demo page and this font will be used for callouts, etc. too – you can select it on the theme option page (Choices > Theme Options).

    Fantastic thanks Dude for all of your help!

    Really appreciated

    Hey Dude,

    Sorry one more question:

    With the Callout – i know how to change the font now thanks. Is there a way you can customize it and make some words Bold or Italics for example and a different font size?

    Where can you customize this?

    You would need to do the html for them in that field where you enter in the text. Then either do inline css for the styling or add classes to the text and style those classes.

    Hmmmmm ok thanks!

    Not 100% sure how to do that, but i’ll give it ago.

    Thanks again!

    Glad we could help :)

    Hi, I know this topic/ticker has been closed but I have a small question.

    What coding do I need to use and where do I need to use it to remove the page title on this page:

    Title is ‘Home’ sitting just under the Rotating banner & Call out line before the page content

    Thanks in advanced!

    You can add this on your custom.css

    .home .post-title.dynamic-post-title {
    display: none;

    Hi Ismael! THANK YOU – worked a charm!
