    I had a problem with shipping which displayed the “sorry it seems there are no shipping methods……” error. I know the error is not them related but the error message box does not fit in the site area. It is cut off on the right side

    I posted a screenshot of the problem http://gasolicious.com/questions/abundance-error-message-box.html

    Hi mgason,

    Can we take a look at your site live so we can see the error and inspect the code at the same time?

    we have a test site online which still throws the error (live site has error fixed) but it only allows in specific IP address’s. I am not sure if you want to reveal one?

    I could turn IP restriction off and add a maintenance plugin for a while. You would need a login to see even front end via page preview.

    contact me at gasonmark AT gmail and I can give me an IP or if not request a login

    seems to be related to the presence of cross-sells

    Without seeing it, what I would suggest doing is inspect the error with your browser of choice dev tools and see if you can find the css selector that is responsible for its alignment/position. If I remember right, its .woocommerce-error so something like this may work:

    .woocommerce-error {
    display: block;
    clear: both;

    that does not help. The problem seems to be that the error box has no width so lines of text do not break until there is a return. Box is as wide as the text. Setting a fixed with works.

    If setting a fixed width works then I’m glad its working for you :)
