    Hey there!

    I was wondering if you could tell me where I can find the code to change the color of the background that appears over the Avia (Fullwidth) images if you add image caption text. I would like to make it a little lighter for the main image and change it on the smaller images (stretch over entire width and center the text perhaps).

    Do you know in what file I can find that?

    Hi Janet,

    Can you link to an example for each of them that you want to change. I want to make sure we are thinking of the same thing.

    In general you can use something like Firebug for Firefox or Inspect element in Safari and Chrome to pick out individual css styles and then add in modifications to either custom.css or Quick CSS (in the Styles tab of the theme options).

    But if you can point out exactly which slideshows you are looking at, we can certainly help identify the exact code modifying them.

    Hey Devin,

    Great! Thanks for helping out. Totally loving this theme, by the way :). This is a link to the page on which the slides are:

    Let me know if you need anything else and thanks again for trying to help me out!

    1) You can change the opacity in abundance/js/aviaslider-dev.js – open up the file and search for:

    backgroundOpacity:0.8,		// opacity for background

    Replace 0.8 with any value between 0 and 1.

    2) You can stretch the title container with following code:

    .thumbnail_wrap_vert .slideThumbTitle {
    width: 100%;

    I’d add it to css/custom.css.
