With the Incarnation theme I’m pretty happy. It’s great. But I have two questions:
1. When I ad Events to the calendar, it shows them in the Welcome-Site and so. But I didn’t find out how to create a site which I can show separately and work with in the menu, so that my visitors can choose an Events-Site.
2. In the beginning, before the site was active, every event showed a little Map with the location of the event. Since the site is active I can only find the link to GoogleMaps. I activated the google maps in the settings, but it didn’t make any difference.
So, thank you vor your support. Kind regards
1) You can select which items should be displayed on the menu editor page (see screenshot in private content). You just need to click on “Ansicht anpassen” and then tick the checkbox next to “Veranstaltungen”).
Afterwards a new tab/dropdown will pop up on the left side where you can select the event entries and add them to the menu (like posts, pages, etc.).
2) You need to generate a Google maps api key to use/display maps. Google introduced a new maps platform which requires api keys and you also need to set up a payment account to generate api kys. If you exceed the free usage limit Google uses the payment account to charge you (more information can be found here: https://cloud.google.com/maps-platform/user-guide/ ). I added the link to the settings page (where you can insert the api key) to the private content.
