    Hi,

You can use the Advance Layout Editor. Go to Content Elements > insert the Blog Element.

Where do you want to add the icon?

Please watch these videos to learn more about the theme: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/

    Regards,

    Hi ramontessmann,

You’ll need to be more specific on exactly what you are trying to do and what the issue is you are running into. How you have the page set up in the advanced layout editor and what elements are in place vs what you want to do is important in trying to help so the more detail the better.

This video gives a basic overview of using the Advanced Layout Editor: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/64927358

So you may need to adjust the layout you had in mind if the editor doesn’t allow for it by default.

    Regards,

    Hi,

If you’re saying the problem is the Color Section.. You should know that the color section only works in Full Width layout.

No, we don’t understand your problem. Please be more specific.

    Regards,

    Ismael

    I’m having the same problem.

What I’m trying to do is achieve the look of the blog with sidebar but without the sidebar.

Basically, on the home screen, I’m using many different looks and prefer the appearance of the “blog with sidebar” as opposed to the “blog without sidebar”. In the latter the blog is centered. In the former everything is aligned to the right.

Is there a way to force the look of the “blog with sidebar” where everything is aligned to the right. But do it without a sidebar (which in ramosteen’s is pushed all the way to the bottom of the website).

EDIT: point of clarification I am trying to use the “Blog Single Author Big” but unless I put in a sidebar it looks like “Blog Single Author Fullwidth”

    Hi ramontessmann,

As Ismael mentioned, the color section will always act as a full width element so your layout can *not* have the blog then the color section because the color section acts as a full width page break.

@netchoice – Your issue is different but at the moment there is no layout support for that kind of layout. You could modify the theme files or fake it with some css modification but in order to keep things properly responsive and cross browser compatible it would need to be done by a freelance developer.

    Regards,

    Devin
