    I’ve just purchased the Flashlight theme, I can’t seem to get the Background Slider to activate.

    I’ve uploaded two images to the Image gallery to test and set the Gallery Layout to “As background slider only”. All the other settings below are set to default. Am I missing another field somewhere?

    To add, only the default background is displaying.

    please create me an admin account and send me the login data to: (Email address hidden if logged out) – I’ll look into it and create a sample gallery.

    I looked into it and the “Easing slider” plugin conflicts with our theme. I deactivated it and now everything works flawlessly.

    I have a few more questions please.

    1> The transparent block above the logo, is it possible to change it to a transparent color?

    2> Is it possible to have the page dedicated to the blog, have the same big title treatment as my other pages?

    3> When using the mini content area, I would like to put an image (cover of my magazine). How do I remove the white box or margin around the image so that it just displays the image.

    4> A big part of my site are various contact forms. I’ve read the post about modifying the form fields. Is it possible to do drop downs, accept buttons, and upload buttons? Is it possible to have a character counter for the text area of a contact form?

    Thank you for your support!

    For #3, I figured out how to do it. I linked the content are to a transparent png file. I would like it to sit at the bottom right corner. There is also a mysterious white box above it I can’t seem to get rid of.

    For #4, I will just use Contact Form 7, and attempt to style it, it maybe easier than to figure out how to implement a word counter.

    1 & 2 is still out standing.

    1) In your style.css find

    add the following between the brackets

    This will change the transparent background above the logo. Of course you can change the background color.

    2) You’re using CUFON fonts, it’s a pain to style these. You can try adding this:

    .inner_box h1{
    font-size:68,9px !important;}

    to your custom.css – I’m doubtful whether this’ll work with Cufon fonts though – try using “no custom font”.

    Thanks for the reply Chris,

    For #1, that seems to work only on pages using the default background. Should I be adding it somewhere else too?

    For #2, I don’t want to style it. I just want to add the page title to the top of the blog page, similar to the other pages.

    For #3, See home page, there is a white box above the mini content area, I think this block holds the title. How do I get rid of it?

    Thank you so much for your help.

    1) You seem to have added an image in the area above the sidebar, I’ll assume you want to keep it like that. The code I provided should work on every page though.

    2) I’m really not certain what you’re trying to achieve. For example, when viewing a blogpost do you want the title to be as big as “Topics & Submissions” – as on the main blog page. Or do you want to add “Topics & Submissions” above single blogpost. Or do you want to make the blog post page with all your posts have a smaller title? Am I missing something here? Maybe an image can help you make it clear for me.

    3) Try adding the following to your custom.css

    .entry-content .box{background:transparent !important;}

    I’m not certain if this affects anything else but it does the job for me, let me know if it works :)

    Hi Chris,

    1&3> Awesome it works now!!!

    2> Currently on the Blog Page (Latest Submissions) there is no title, even though I’ve specified the Layout Option to have Content + big title. I would like this page to have the big title treatment similar to the other 3 pages.

    Here is what I mean:

    Thanks again Chris, keep up the good work!

    Oh! In your template-blog.php find

    /* Run the loop to output the posts.

    Right before this line add two lines, so it’ll look like this:

    $titleClass = $avia_config['layout'];
    echo "<h1 class='post-title $titleClass'>".get_the_title()."</h1>";
    /* Run the loop to output the posts.

    Let me know if it works :)

    I may have to lower case the header to get it to fit in the content area. Is there an easy way to do this?

    Thank-you for answering all my questions.

    I think this can help you for the uppercase.
