    I used template builder to build the layout of my front page using several separate pages.

    Tried to change the background color for just one of the page but can’t seem to find a way to do it.

    This is how it looks now, and where I would like a strip of color.

    This is how I would like it to be like when it’s finished.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi rizsedek,

    Looks like you’ve got it figured out:

    Hi Devin,

    Thanks for replying. I tried doing it with alternative background in the styling backend. Although I feel it may be limited if I want to have other stylings elsewhere.

    Is there another way through css?

    Hi,

    If you want to change the style of a specific page, you can use the Google Chrome Inspect Element. Look for the unique css body class.

    On the example above, the page’s unique selector is .page-id-2251. We can use it to change the element within that page.

    .page-id-2251 #header_main {
    border-bottom-width: 3px;
    border-bottom-style: dotted;
    background: red;
    }

    Regards,

    Ismael
