First, thanks for taking the time to help me out!

I am developing a client’s website where I am implementing the Avia Slider slideshow. The slideshow functions great when viewed in all browsers except for IE 8 & 9. In IE 8, the slides are loaded directly under where they should be with the loading .gif visible all the time. In IE 9, I see the two instances of the loading .gif without any of the slides showing at all.

The site is not live to the general public yet, so can I contact one of your support people through email privately to grant them access? I will surely post the solution here when it is reached!

Ah the joy of dealing with IE…

I am aware that a newer version of Avia Slider was recently released to fix IE bugs, when did you download the package from Theme Forest?

You can email me through support {at} jamesmorrisondesign {dot} com and I’ll take a look.

    Thanks for the response James.

    I just emailed you!

Thanks James, but I fixed it before you could respond.

Aviaslider broke in IE 8 & 9 when I had ‘a’ tags for a link encapsulating the slideshow

‘ul’ code. I removed the ‘a’ tag and it works just fine now! Hope that helps anyone that runs into the same predicament.
