    The Avia Slider showing the Featured Image of a calendar entry of All-in-One Event Calendar from Time.ly used to work with the following configuration (see here for an example: https://www.smvc.ch/veranstaltung/ (Purchase code hidden if logged out) /?instance_id=480):

    WordPress 4.9.1
    Flagship Theme 1.8
    Avia Framework 1.9.1
    All-in-One Event Calendar 2.3.12

    Now with some updates with the following configuration, the Avia Slider does not show the Featured Image of a calendar entry anymore (site currently not online yet):

    WordPress 4.9.8
    Flagship Theme 4.1
    Avia Framework 4.5.1
    All-in-One Event Calendar 2.5.32

    After some tests I believe it’s rather a Flagship issue than a All-in-One Event Calendar one. I’ve figured the following code-snipped of includes/loop-page.php does not fire since slidecount seems to be 0:

    <?php if($slider->slidecount) echo $slider->display(); ?>

    How can I fix this?

    PS: Tests with normal blog posts result in the same, Featured Image is not shown as a Avia Slider…

    Hey sher-rtad-py-wu,

    Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    1. Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
    2. Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
    3. Click ” Create New “.
    4. Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
      ( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
    5. Click ” Submit “.
    6. You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.

    When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
    If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

    Best regards,
    Basilis

    Could you then answer me the following: With the All-in-One Event Calendar plugin when I create a new event in the backend the Slideshow Options from the Flagship theme do not appear – where and how do I have to make changes to the php code that they do appear? As I understand it the theme hooks them in somewhere for a normal post post_type, but in the case of adding a new event the post_type is ai1ec_event.

    Hi,

    I also wasn’t able to log in, even with the modified host file.

    Could you then answer me the following: With the All-in-One Event Calendar plugin when I create a new event in the backend the Slideshow Options from the Flagship theme do not appear – where and how do I have to make changes to the php code that they do appear?

    Please open up flagship\includes\admin\register-admin-metabox.php – at the very top you’ll find this code

    $boxes = array(
    	array( 'title' =>  'Layout', 'id'=>'layout' , 'page'=>array('post','page'), 'context'=>'side', 'priority'=>'low' ),
    	array( 'title' =>  'Slideshow Options', 'id'=>'slideshow_meta', 'page'=>array('post','page'), 'context'=>'normal', 'priority'=>'high' ),
    	array( 'title' =>  'Slideshow Options', 'id'=>'slideshow_meta_portfolio', 'page'=>array('portfolio'), 'context'=>'normal', 'priority'=>'high' ),
    	array( 'title' =>  'Featured media - add any number of images and/or videos', 'id'=>'media' , 'page'=>array('post','page','portfolio'), 'context'=>'normal', 'priority'=>'high' ),
    	array( 'title' =>  'Header Background Options', 'id'=>'add_options' , 'page'=>array('post','page','portfolio'), 'context'=>'normal', 'priority'=>'high' ),

    );

    You can add your events post type to the array(‘post’,’page’). Based on this article https://time.ly/resources/troubleshooting/ (Purchase code hidden if logged out) / I assume the events post type is called ai1ec_event – thus you can replace:

    array('post','page')

    with

    array('post','page','ai1ec_event')

    to show the slideshow options on event editor pages too.

    Best regards,
    Peter
