    Hello,

I would first like to say how amazing this theme has been from a developer point of view.
My client phoned me this morning and mentioned that the page builder has stopped working on only ONE page.
This is quite a strange issue in my mind.

    Things I’ve tried:
    – Disable all plugins
    – Re-install WordPress 4.1.2
    – Revert to previous revisions of the page in question

All other pages load the builder correctly, however the one page tries to load the builder endlessly.
Anything I can do here? Not an emergency but the client would like to know why they can’t edit the one page anymore.

    Thanks!

Hi @schwabje – as I’m currently battling a similar issue as well I wonder if there’s something specific about that page, or the elements it uses, that isn’t used on the other pages that work? Like maybe on one you use a fullscreen slider, and that is the page builder that isn’t loading anymore, but other pages not using a fullscreen slider work fine. That type of thing.

    Cheers,
    Adam

The page that’s having the issue only has 2 text blocks and a few images, nothing fancy.
If I re-create the page with the exact same data, the page builder loads perfectly fine. However if I try to load the existing page the page builder never successfully loads. Almost as if there is some data corruption occurring.

Update: Client called me again telling me that another page they have added is now resulting in the same issue, which I confirmed.
Now it’s almost certainly something being done during editing that is causing this to happen.
I have created a test page with several elements similar to the pages she is having issues with, and the page builder loads fine.
Upon inspecting her two pages she created, the only thing they have in common is they are using textblocks outside of any grid section.
I am trying to determine exactly what she did during the editing process.
Any help would be awesome! It’s a very confusing problem, especially since I cannot reproduce it.

    Hey!

I’ve never heard about this happening on one page only, could you try to recreate the page as a temporary solution and try to find out what is causing it? When the ALB doesn’t load, overwriting the theme usually helps, you could maybe try that as well.

It was only one page, then the client mentioned a second page she created was now having the issues.
Yesterday, I took it upon myself to create a test page using various elements, saved it, edited it a few times from different browsers / IPs, page builder was loading fine.
Then this morning she emailed me saying that she had edited the test page I made yesterday & it was no longer loading the page builder anymore.
So, it’s almost guaranteed that it’s something the client was doing during editing that is causing this issue / bug.
I’ve asked her to make detailed notes of what she’s doing during editing, to hopefully figure out what is causing this to happen.
Is there anything else I can do? Should I provide your team with links?
I’d really like to get this resolved. It’s one of the more bizarre bugs I’ve ever encountered.

    Thanks!

    Hey!

Please post the webite url here. Make sure that you have the latest version of the theme, 3.1.3. What is the memory limit of the WP installation? Try to increase it to at least 128M: http://www.dailyblogging.org/wordpress/increase-wordpress-memory-limit/

    Regards,
    Ismael
