    I’m trying to alter the breadcrumb system just a little bit, and I found the breadcrumb php file, but don’t have the skill to work out what to do.

    I want whatever page you’re currently on to appear in a specific colour. I also want it to never show the root link (Never show the ink to my homepage).

    You can remove the home link – replace following line:

    echo '<p class="breadcrumb"><span class="breadcrumb_info">'.__('You are here:','avia_framework').'</span> <a href="'.get_bloginfo('url').'">';
    echo "</a>";

    echo '<p class="breadcrumb"><span class="breadcrumb_info">'.__('You are here:','avia_framework').'</span>';

    2) You can change the color of the current item based on the page/post id. The code would look like:

    .page-id-425 .current_crumb{
    color: #ff0000;

    and for posts:

    .postid-282 .current_crumb{
    color: #ff0000;

    You need to replace the id(s) with your page/post ids.

    Works perfectly (for referance, I also did it to .single). Thanks!

    Glad that Dude could help you :)
