1- That would be possible but would require some customization to theme files. Please feel free to request – or vote if already requested – such feature on Enfold feature request form or hire a freelance developer.
2- Please add following code to Quick CSS as well

#top .header_color .ajax_search_entry:hover {
    background-color: orange;
}

Example website is not using WordPress. However as you can see, it has a very outdated design. Which would not be the case if you used Enfold, unless that design is what you are going for.

WordPress like other content management systems, may have security issues however there is a strong team of developers and community behind it so it is being updated and improved with each update, just like our themes.

There are also many free security plugins such as – https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordfence/. Once you start using Enfold and WordPress, i am pretty sure you will be happy with your decision. Please enable the custom css class field: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/turn-on-custom-css-field-for-all-alb-elements/ and edit your element and give it a custom CSS class (“your-custom-class” in example below) and then add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under General Styling tab

.your-custom-class { display: none !important; }

When you would like to display the element, you can simply remove the code from Quick CSS

Please go to Apperance > Widgets and create two widget areas “header” and “header-two” and then add following code to Functions.php file in Appearance > Editor

Then add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under General Styling tab
