    Hey Jan-M.Weymar,

    Best regards,
    Yigit

    in reply to: Sub menus #882984

    Hi Prakhar,

    Thanks for contacting us!

    Using custom CSS you can display sub-submenu items below submenu items however to display them on click, you would need to modify the theme.

    I hope that helps! Let us know if you have any other questions :)

    Best regards,
    Yigit

    in reply to: child theme and updates #882980

    Hi!

    That is the correct way. Child theme inherits parent theme so when parent theme updates, your child theme will be inheriting updated version of parent theme.

    You can move files that you have modified to your child theme to avoid having them overwritten during update. For example, you might want to add custom functions to your functions.php file. If you add them on functions.php file of your parent theme, it will be overwritten when you update the theme (because all files in parent theme gets overwritten during update) but if you apply those changes on your child theme’s functions.php file, that file will not be overwritten. Functions.php file in parent theme will be overwritten but child theme’s will not.

    Since you have installed, activated and designed your site using a child theme, there is nothing to worry about :)

    Best regards,
    Yigit

    in reply to: child theme and updates #882909

    Hey!

    1- Yes, since you did your design in the child theme, you do not import parent theme.
    2- Yes, parent theme gets updates and child theme does not.
    3- It is always recommended to keep the theme, WordPress and plugins (if you are using any) updated.
    4- It will work for years and in case you run into any issues, you can always contact us and we will fix it as soon as we can :)

    That is fine :) Let us know if you have any other questions!

    Regards,
    Yigit

    in reply to: child theme and updates #882896

    Hi Hanneke,

    No worries at all! We are here to help :)

    If you have activated child theme and directly started working on it, you would not need to import parent theme options. Most users activate child theme after they adjusted theme options in parent theme but in your case that would not be necessary :)

    in reply to: Horizontal gallery vs mobile (enfold v4.2) #882841

    Hi,

    If you still would like to hide arrows on certain elements, please go to Enfold theme options > Layout Builder and check “Show element options for developers” and then edit your element and give it a custom CSS class (“my-custom-class” in example below) and then add following code to Quick CSS field in Enfold theme options > General Styling tab

    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
    .my-custom-class .avia-slideshow-arrows {
        display: none;
    }}

    You can edit your element and change the arrows. If you need further assistance, please feel free to let us know :)

    Best regards,
    Yigit

    Hi,

    in reply to: Proposition to make Theme Compatible with Dokan Multivendor #882830

    Hi Tarun,

    No worries at all :) Nice meeting you too!

    Sure, we have shared this thread with our devs as well.

    Final decision is Kriesi’s. He might not want to add compatibility folder to the theme but i think he could agree sharing child theme your team created on Enfold documentation – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/. Since he is currently very busy, it may take a while to hear from him but we will update you in this thread.

    Thanks again!

    Best regards,
    Yigit

    in reply to: child theme and updates #882822

    Hey!

    Since “coming soon” mode is active, we cannot check if your current active theme is Enfold child theme.
    If it is not, please activate it. You can go to Enfold child theme options > Import & Export and import parent theme options.
    You can move your Username and API key to your child theme options. You can read more about child theme here – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/

    You would not need to update your child theme. During updates, only parent theme files are updated and since your child theme inherits parent theme, child theme does not require updating :)

    Cheers!

    in reply to: Custom Button URGENT ATTENTION #882821

    Hey!

    Only step necessary was to flush cache in Autoptimize plugin :)
    We were seeing cached version of your site. That is why custom buttons were not working.

    I just took extra step and checked the changes your developer made to make sure if they are update proof and made sure they are. You should not have any issues regarding your custom buttons in future. But in case you notice anything wrong or not working as supposed to, please try flushing cache. That will most likely fix the issue :)

    I am marking this thread as resolved. Glad we could help and sorry it took too long :)

    Let us know if you have any other questions or issues!

    in reply to: Horizontal gallery vs mobile (enfold v4.2) #882800

    Hi!

    Please remove following code from Style.css file of your child theme

    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
    .avia-slideshow-arrows {
        display: none;
    }}

    Cheers!
    Yigit

    Hi!

    Flushing cache should be the first thing to try but personally i tend to look for the solution in deeper levels as well :)

    Glad you figured it out! Let us know if you have any other questions or issues!

    in reply to: Custom Button URGENT ATTENTION #882790

    Hi!

    Thanks a lot!
    Apparently it was a cache related issue. I simply flushed cache in Autoptimize plugin and that helped.
    Autoptimize plugin optimizes JS files as well. That is why it was not working properly.
    If you run into the same issue in future, please firstly try flushing cache in Autoptimize. I inspected the files on your server and as developer you hired said, changes are perfectly safe for updates and would work without any issues.

    Please flush browser cache and refresh your page a few times – http://wiki.scratch.mit.edu/wiki/Hard_Refresh and change your user portal password.

    Cheers!

    Hey Marc,

    Please go to Enfold theme options > Advanced Styling and edit “Small bar above Main Menu” to change the color of your text. Font weight is already bold :)

    It is working fine on my local installation and other users have not reported such issue. Could you please create temporary admin logins and post them here privately so we can look into it? :)

    Hi!

    I tried again but still not working. It tries to connect for about 15 minutes then throws an error saying credentials are not accepted.
    When i said “you might be logged in”, i meant to say that you might be seeing your user portal because you are logged in, however since i am not logged in, i am redirected to link in private field.

    Please either post host, username and password for FTP/SFTP or login credentials to your user portal so we can edit the files. Being unable to access to your server is keeping us from moving forward, unfortunately :)

    Cheers!

    in reply to: child theme and updates #882771

    Hey!

    After installing and activating child theme, you can insert your Username and API key in Enfold child theme options – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/ and update the theme. Parent theme will be updated and files you have modified on your child theme will not be overwritten.

    If you would like to move your translation files to your child theme, please see – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/child-theme-translations/ and if you would like to modify ALB elements, see – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/add-new-or-replace-advanced-layout-builder-elements-from-child-theme/ :)

    Hi,

    Avia.js file in /js/ folder in your child theme was causing the issue. I renamed it to “old-avia.js” and that fixed it.
    Please copy avia.js file from parent theme to your child theme again and apply the changes once again :)
