You are getting the error because you are not using the latest version of Enfold. Please update Enfold to 4.2.6 – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/ :)

1- No, you can simply copy whole “avia_title” function (line 390-465) from functions-enfold.php file to functions.php file of your child theme.
2- Please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options > General Styling

#top .title_container .container {
    padding-top: 0;
    padding-bottom: 0;
    min-height: 35px;
}

You are currently using a very old version of the theme, 3.6.1. Please update Enfold to the latest version 4.2.6 – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/. Also, please make sure your server is running PHP version 5.6 or higher.

You can go to wp-content/themes/enfold/ and replace header.php file with this one – https://www.dropbox.com/s/r389b5x4ippscyn/header.php?dl=0 via FTP to solve the issue as well.
